GLORY TO SHAME

July 25 2014, Chika Amalaha was full of smiles, the excitement was too much, she had to cry.
You could see how fulfilled she was to win. 
Who wouldn’t be, if making yourself proud is awesome how about making a country proud? 
You see, wining gold on a big stage for her was a dream come through. She knew it was enough to turn her life around.

 But not all success stories have happy endings...

Days later, she failed a doping test and was stripped of her gold medal and her world instantly took a reverse.

She fell from grace to grass,

From glory to shame and I couldn't help but feel sorry for her even though I shouldn't.

Now the question is,

Can someone gain utmost satisfaction from cheating?

How does it feel claiming what you don't deserve?

Is the hunger for glory so great we don't mind what it takes?

One thing I know for certain,

Ultimate satisfaction emanates from genuine labor and the joy you acquire; nobody can take it away from you.
