Godswill Akpabio Dumps Own Hospital And Seeks Treatment Abroad After Car Crash

Past Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has travelled out of Nigeria for medical treatment abroad after sustaining injuries in a car crash on Monday when his car collided with a United States embassy vehicle after beating the traffic.
According to government sources, the lawmaker left for the United Kingdom aboard a private jet on Tuesday.
Akwa Ibom government sources said the former governor preferred to seek medical help overseas rather than do so at a N30 billion hospital he opened shortly before leaving office in May.
Unveiling the facility in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital, in May 2015, Mr. Akpabio had told Nigerians the hospital was of world-class specialist standard with ultra-modern medical facilities that would attract medical tourism to state.

“We needed a hospital that can run at international standard. We also decided to have a hospital that would answer to the needs of Nigerians in terms of advanced health management. And that was why we built the Akwa Ibom Specialist Hospital,” he said.
He also said the hospital was higher than a teaching hospital, and that it was a “quaternary hospital”. The governor said the entire hospital system was hooked up to the global system for best practice.

Now the question on everybody's mouth is, if his hospital is that good, why did he travel abroad to seek medical care?

Trailer Falls Off Bridge In Lagos And KilledThree

Three people died on Wednesday after an unlatched articulated vehicle carrying a 40-foot container fell off a bridge at Ojuelegba, Lagos.
The horrific incident, which occurred around 5‎ pm, saw two vehicles mutilated under the weight of the container.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency confirmed the death toll, and added that rescue efforts were still ongoing.
Witnesses said the driver of the trailer lost control of the vehicle on the bridge before it fell over.
“People were screaming and before we knew it, it had landed on those two vehicles moving along the road,” said a witness who did not want to be named.
“It would be difficult for any of the occupants in those vehicles to survive.”

Too Bad - See What A landlord Did To His Tenant's Son

A 65 year old landlord, Joseph Olaleye, threw an ignited kerosene stove at his tenant's son who is only 3years old in Ogun state.
The incident occurred when the suspect threw an ignited kerosene stove at the boy, who was a son to one Olalekan Razak, one of the tenants of the suspect, which caused severe injuries on the victim before he was rushed to a Hospital in Otta where he was confirmed dead.
The Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali, described the incident as unfortunate, and directed that the suspect be charged to court after investigation without any delay.
The police boss sympathised with the family of the vicitm and assured them of justice in the matter.

My Opinion -A Side Chick,Will Always Be Second Best

A married man, took his side chick to a bar, after ordering drinks for the second time, he noticed how the girl's countenance changed. Unable to control his temper, he immediately picked a quarrel with her, ranting about how she constantly makes fool of him whenever he is trying to have fun, he even went as far as comparing her to his wife.
In his words,"why i go dey spend my money on you and i go still dey receive insults, you wey no even reach my wife".
The girl already subdued in shame, politely explained that her countenance changed because she was not in support of his drinking habits, she further pointed out that they were in a public place, he shouldn't have reacted the way he did.
Like fuel added to an already burning bush, the man Flared up and started beating her.
That is the highest level of disrespect, although i do not pity her.
These are my reasons;

A side chick, is always regarded as a sex toy, no matter how she tries to paint it, that is what she is.

A side chick, can never be accorded the kind of respect given to the main chick , because, the side chick is often regarded as the disposable chick.

A side chick is regarded second best while the main chick is always number 1.

Judging from the points above, i am totally of the opinion that the side chick actually got what she deserved, because, she shouldn't have dated the man in the first place, knowing fully well that he belonged to someone else .

Note!!! I completely frown against cheating and any act of violence directed towards the female folks.

See What Happened To A 37 Year Old Man Who Defiled Step Daughter

A 37-year-old man, Oluwaseyi Akinmulayo, who allegedly defiled his step daughter, on Tuesday appeared before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Jimah Iseghede, told the court that the offence was committed sometime in February at the accused’s residence. According to Iseghede, the accused defiled his 15-year-old step daughter and told her not to tell anybody.
“The girl later told her mother. The accused disappeared after committing the offence but was caught and brought to court.” The offence, according to the prosecutor, contravenes Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
The accused denied the charge. In his ruling, the Chief Magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, admitted the accused to a bail of N2 million in addition to two sureties in like sum. He ordered the accused to pay N200, 000 into the court’s registrar’s account as part of the bail condition. The case was adjourned to Sept. 9 for mention.
