CR7 Cristiano Ronaldo gifts watches to Real teammates

Running alongside Barcelona talisman Messi and super shot stopper Neuer, for world player of the year, Cr7 as he is popularly called is also known for his generosity.
In the spirit of xmas, he took out time to appreciate his teammates at Real Madrid for their love and supports, as he gives each of them a £6,500 (approx USD 10000) wrist watch.
The pic above was posted by Alvaro Arbeloa on his Instagram page to show off the gift.
I think if he was running for the most generous player right now he would run unopposed.

Shocking-India Girl Marries Dog To Ward Off Evil Spirits

Saw this story while surfing the web and was amazed at the things people do because of some superstitious belief.

In a remote part of India, young Mangli Munda  married a stray dog to fight off evil spirits that her family believes she has.
The dog was found by the woman’s father. The big wedding was taken care of by the 18-year-old’s parents, to the dismay of the wife-to-be. Munda wasn’t pleased with her parents’ selection of a groom, saying, “I am not happy with this marriage.”
If you think Munda’s father was solely to blame for this unusual arrangement, he wasn’t. Munda’s mother was adamant about the need for her daughter to get hitched to the hound named Sheru. The pooch even arrived stylin’ and profilin’ as most grooms often do — chauffeured in a car. Munda’s mother mentioned, “We have to spend money on this wedding. That is the only way we can get rid of her bad luck and ensure the benevolence of the village.”
But Munda won’t have to love and honor her husband all the days of her life. The relationship isn’t legally binding, which will probably keep this bride from going barking mad.
In this remote village in the eastern state of Jharkhand, the ceremony isn’t unheard of. It’s just a tradition meant to ensure the longevity of a couple’s marriage when Munda is eventually married to a human groom. And, hopefully, her next husband won’t turn out to be a dog.

Headies 2014: Patoranking Wins The Next Rated Award Leaves With Brand New Car, Gets Standing Ovation

The year 2014 has ended on a good note for buzzing dance hall artiste, Patoranking.
The reggae artiste not only clinched three awards but also went home with a brand new Hyundai car at the just concluded entertainment awards, Headies 2014.
His first award was for his collaborative effort on ‘Emergency’. The hit single earned him the Best Collabo award, alongside WizzyPro, Skales and Runtown.
His second award was the Best Reggae /Dancehall category for his hit track ‘Girlie’o’ while his biggest award of the night was when he clinched the Next Rated award category.
While giving his thank you speech, he recollected his humble beginnings and narrated how he used to do odd jobs to make ends meet.
“If I tell you I was once a rat killer seller, would you believe? If I tell you I was once a brick layer would you believe? But God brought me out of the gutter. My story should inspire you. Don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot make it in life or you can’t achieve anything, I am a living proof of how God can turn around your story in seconds”.
After his tearful speech, he got a standing ovation from the audience.
