No fewer than 107 members of the Boko Haram sect have been killed by
Cameroonian soldiers.
This development is coming barely 24 hours after the bloodthirsty group
announced a ceasefire.
Reuters reports that the Defence Minister of the country, Edgar Alain Mebe
Ngo disclosed this in a statement.
He said the clash occurred in two areas in the northern part of the country on
Wednesday and Thursday after the insurgents crossed the border between the
towns of Amchide and Limani.
Eight Cameroonian soldiers were said to have been killed and seven wounded
in the battle.
The Boko Haram sect was yet to react to the report at the moment.
