Last season, Chelsea was the team to beat. They stayed at the pinnacle of the EPL's table all through the season and never came down, which eventually resulted to wining the league. Everybody was afraid to play them, many even thought they were going to win the EPL unbeaten and when it came to tactical dexterity, Jose Mourinho's side always came out in flying colours.
But this season, the defending champions are singing a different song. They played 2 games, but managed to gain just 1 point. Leaving them 5 points behind Manchester city who humiliated them 3-0 just yesterday at the Etihad Stadium.
Both defeats ware attributed to various reasons, yet Mourinho refuses to take the fall. Rather, he points accusing fingers at the medical team and the team's captain. Thereby, risking the wrath of the players and the board. Creating a certain level of unrest in the dressing room.
From experience, we have learnt that when everybody is happy, they tend to produce results.
Some people, especially Chelsea fans, are of the opinion that it is too early to judge. They are very optimistic that chelsea would soon pick form and will eventually win the league.
