As expected,the match between Stoke City and liverpool got off to an impressive start as liverpool was determined to revenge the 6 - 1 humiliation they suffered against stoke, towards the end of the previous premier league campaign. Though the match was extremely tight, liverpool enjoyed more possession, with new comers Clyne, James Milner and Benteke working really hard to prove their moneys worth. Their determination, finally paid off 86 minutes into the game when Liverpool's wonder kid philippe Coutinho, struck home his usual trademark shot from a distance, to get liverpool off to a wining start. Though, there's still plenty of work to be done.
