The data of registrants in the ongoing collection of the Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) in Delta State being carried out by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has been corrupted by suspected computer malware, otherwise known as virus.
it was gathered that there are no fewer than 129 existing polling units in the affected area where persons who came out to collect their PVC went home disappointed as they could not access them.
In Ika South local government area of the state, the development specifically caused apprehension among eligible voters in the town, who are afraid they might be disenfranchised by the occurrence.
Those who are affected already believe that the action was a deliberate one meant to render the people politically irrelevant in the upcoming local government election and the 2015 general election.
