Controversial singer Nicki Minaj has broken the record of yet another
controversial singer Miley Cyrus. Nicki's sexually explicit music video
of her latest song "Anaconda" has become the most watched song on Vevo.
"Anaconda" received 19.6 million views within the first 24 hours of
its release on August 19. Comparatively Miley Cyrus' naked anthem
"Wrecking Ball" was viewed only 12.3 million times on Vevo in the first
24 hours
Music sharing site Vevo revealed the information about Nicki's song on Twitter. "@NICKIMINAJ #Anaconda broke the #24hrVevoRecord w/ 19.6M views! How you gonna celebrate, Nic? " wrote Vevo on Twitter.
Nicki was ecstatic when she received this news and shared it with her
fans on social media. "WE BROKE THE RECORD BABY!!!!! Anaconda Video
19.6 million views in 24 hrs!!!! :)," revealed the 31-year-old on her
Instagram and Twitter page.
Interestingly Miley Cyrus too seemed quite impressed with Nicki
Minaj's artwork of "Anaconda" where Nicki has posed in a tiny pink thong
and exposed her now famous butts. Miley photo shopped Nicki's
butt-revealing picture and used her face on Nicki's body. She even
called the new picture "Hannah Conda" and used the picture on her
Instagram page too. When Miley Spoofed Nicki's song, little did she know
that Nicki's song will be beating her very own Vevo record of the most
viewed song in 24 hours.
